We are so glad you are interested in working together! Here are the first steps to get started.

First – get in contact! You can either email us at info@bluemtwellness.com, or call 719-445-6400. You can also send a message through our contact form.

After you contact us, we will send you an invitation to our patient portal where a few forms will need to be completed. The client portal is located here.

The invitation will be sent to your email account. You will click ‘sign in’ from that email and be taken to the Client Portal. It should look like the image below. Click on the ‘Get Started’ button to complete the necessary forms. Forms must be completed prior to the initial appointment.

Your appointment frequency will depend on your specific needs and will be discussed at your initial appointment.

We will work together on a plan that fits your needs and schedule.

Blue Mountain Wellness is contracted with insurance companies for nutrition consultations only. We are currently contracted with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, and Cigna.

While we do not call to check insurance benefits on your behalf, please see the Insurance Coverage section below to better understand your coverage. Payment is ultimately your responsibility so we encourage you to verify your nutrition benefits.

Most health insurance plans cover nutrition counseling, either as part of your preventive health benefits at no cost to you, or as medical benefits, where you may owe a portion of the cost.

Yes! We can see patients remotely for nutritional counseling or virtual bodywork sessions.

We conduct telehealth appointments through a simple to use HIPAA compliant platform.

If you live outside the state of Colorado, please contact us prior to scheduling your appointment as some states allow telehealth appointments and others do not.

We will provide you a unique link to access the telehealth video conference. Your appointment reminder will also obtain a link to your appointment.

If you have opted to not receive email appointment reminders, you can login to our patient portal and under the appointments tab there will be a button to join the video call.

Insurance coverage can often be confusing. We are here to help! Most health insurers cover nutrition visits with us at no cost to you.

Since payment for services is ultimately your responsibility, we recommend calling the number on the back of your insurance card and asking them the questions below. 

Please write down the answers from your call and keep them for your records. If insurance declines to cover your visits for any reason, you are responsible for the full amount billed.
